Iowa farmers sticking with corn-soybean rotation

Prices and trade negotiations will have a limited impact on farmers’ planting decisions this year, Iowa farmers say.

With planting intentions largely set for the year, most farmers say they’ll follow their traditional crop rotations.

“We’ve been a 50-50 no-till operation for close to 30 years, and we’re not planning to make a change to that,” said Joel Wahling of Shelby County.
