Farm Bureau members Ryan and Mindy Miller returned from the recent National Young Farmer and Ranchers (YF&R) Conference with new Facebook friends and a greater understanding of the challenges facing young farmers like themselves.

The Millers, who farm near Arm­strong in Emmet County, traveled to the American Farm Bureau YF&R Conference Feb. 7-10 in Virginia Beach, Va., as District 3 representatives of the Iowa Farm Bureau Young Farmer Advisory Committee.
