A strong crop insurance program should be the top funding priority in the next farm bill, county Farm Bureau voting delegates said last week at the Iowa Farm Bureau (IFBF) annual meeting in Des Moines.

"Without a doubt, we think crop insurance is advantageous," said Worth County delegate Andy Hill. "We’d like to ensure crop insurance is maintained as it is. That’s our No. 1 priority."
