Greaseless planter saving farmers time, money
Field testing one of the new 5000 series planters from Kinze this spring offered Richland’s Troy Adam the opportunity to see first-hand the planting unit’s enhanced performance, precision planting advancements and reduced maintenance capabilities.
Coupled with the Blue Vantage in-cab controller’s simplicity and ease of use, getting seeds in the ground effectively, quickly and precisely has never been easier, said Adam.
“The Kinze technology is high-speed, has precise seed placement and Blue Vantage … getting the multiple monitors out of your tractor cab and having just one screen … it’s really all at your fingertips,” he said. “Whatever this thing says, I have complete faith about what’s going on back behind me.”
Kinze announced this spring the launching of two 2024 planters featuring the company’s fully redesigned cast row unit, available as the new 5900 and 5700 planter models — both equipped with the easy to use display and powered by the Blue Drive electric drive.
