With the United States and China continuing to spar on trade, it’s critical for U.S. trade negotiators to wrap up a revised North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) with Canada and Mexico and to aggressively seek new bilateral trade agreements in Asia and other parts of the world, the president of the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) said last week.

“We believe it’s time we went on the offense on trade,” said Zippy Duvall, a Georgia farmer and AFBF president. “We think that would bring a lot more hope out in the countryside right now.”
