The American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF), along with other agriculture groups, applauded the tax reform blueprint released last week by Congress. The tax reform blueprint, they said, would preserve key provisions for farmers, such as interest expensing and immediate expensing, and would phase out the estate tax.  

“Farm Bureau applauds Con­gress for its progress in reforming the tax code,” said Zippy Duvall, AFBF president. “This new tax plan moves us closer to a tax system that rewards the hard work and entrepreneurship of America’s farm and ranch families.”
