Sandy Ehrig, who leads Iowa Farm Bur­eau's Renew Rural Iowa program, was named the 2019 Small Business Dev­elopment Center (SBDC) champion.  The award was created to recognize business partners who provide outstanding support to small business in Iowa.

Ehrig is also co-chair of the Governor’s Empower Rural Iowa Initiative, which was created last year to support economic development in rural Iowa communities.
