Exports are always vital for Iowa farmers. But with prospects of record corn and soybean harvests this fall, farmers are even more focused on selling their corn, soybeans, pork and beef into global markets.

The good news is that the world wants more of what Iowa raises, according to Michael Froman, the U.S. Trade Representative, on a recent visit to several sites around the state, including the Iowa State Fair with Iowa Sen. Charles Grassley.
