Cost-share available for first-time conservation

The Iowa Department of Agriculture is accepting applications for $1.4 million in state cost-share funds for farmers wishing to try cover crops, strip-till/no-till or a nitrogen stabilizer for the first time. Funds are limited and restricted to those that have not used these practices before.
Farmers are only eligible for cost-share on up to 160 acres. The funds will be made available on July 17, but...
