Containing manure and keeping it out of Iowa’s waterways is an important part of animal agriculture. Last month, three farmers in northeast Iowa showed the ways in which they are doing their part as they hosted visitors to talk about their manure storage projects.

Paul Overman, a cattle feeder in New Vienna, bought an old dairy farm about two years ago.
