Iowa’s U.S. Senators, along with renewable fuel advocates, last week cheered a move by the Trump administration to indefinitely delay a deal to change the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) that was favored by the petroleum industry.

“Pres. Trump helped farmers by rejecting bad ethanol deal. I appreciate. GREAT NEWS,” Iowa Sen. Charles Grassley said on Twitter soon after learning that White House had put the long-rumored deal on ice.
