AI agronomic solutions company Agmatix has partnered with chemical and agricultural solutions company BASF to develop a cutting-edge digital tool designed to detect and predict the presence of soybean cyst nematode (SCN) in the nation’s soybean fields.
The initiative, launched through BASF’s AgroStart open innovation platform, is working to provide soybean growers with real-time insights to help mitigate yield losses caused by SCN — one of the most damaging yet often undetectable soybean pests that causes up to $1.5 billion in annual losses.
