Earth Day is a good time for all of us to reflect on the condition of our natural resources, what we’re doing to protect them, the progress we’re making, and how we can do even more to take on the challenge of protecting them in the future.
The farmers that I work with on a daily basis understand and embrace their role in protecting Iowa’s soil and water. They’re eager to do more, but they’re also keen on helping Iowans understand the collaborative progress they’re making right now (and the progress they’ve helped make over the course of decades).
The following video helps illustrate some of the progress that’s been made and work that’s currently being done to address the challenge in front of us. Check it out! Happy Earth Day!
