A whimsical name evoking another time, when actors could act and sitcoms were funny—and the music was great! The Sons of Gladys Kravitz specialize in performing the very best music of the last 50 years, with letter-perfect renditions of classic songs from artists ranging from the Allman Brothers to ZZ Top—and many great artists in between. The band members are all veterans of the Central Iowa music scene, and include Wade Krieg (guitars/vocals), Stan Richard (keyboards/vocals), Greg Leeper (bass/vocals), Rick Maly (drums, percussion and vocals), and Greg Valentine (violin, acoustic guitar, mandolin and vocals.) The 'Lite' version of the band, which ironically features the two heaviest members of the band (Wade and Rick), also includes Greg Valentine and plays acoustic songs from the classic rock era, as well as some Irish and folk music tunes.
