Removal of the old Iowa 92 bridge over the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 at exit 56 near Bevington will require closing the roadway for three overnight closures from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Oct. 21-23), weather permitting, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Chariton construction office.
During the closures, southbound I-35 traffic will use the off-ramp to exit at Iowa 92 (exit 56) near Bevington, then get onto the new on-ramp for southbound I-35.
