Reuters gave Farm Bureau the last word in its nuanced coverage of pollinators and pesticides in a recent article.

“Paul Schlegel, director of environment and energy policy for the American Farm Bureau Federation, said the governor was ‘restricting the ability of farmers to use all the tools the EPA has said they can use,’” noted the article, which focused on an executive order issued by Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton. “I don’t think that we’re aware of any other state that’s going to start taking away tools from farmers,” Schlegel said in the piece.
