The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting public input on the proposed replacement of the Iowa 136 bridge over a stream, 0.2 miles north of Jones County Road E-45, in Jones County. The project will replace the existing bridge with a twin 12-foot x 12-foot x 166-foot long reinforced concrete box (RCB) culvert.
Through traffic on Iowa 136 would be detoured during construction following Iowa 136 east of Oxford Junction to the junction with U.S. 61, then north on U.S. 61 to its junction with Iowa 64, then west to Iowa 136.
