Public input requested for proposed improvements on U.S. 52 in Winneshiek County

The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting public input for proposed resurfacing and ADA sidewalk work on U.S. 52 in the towns of Castalia and Ossian in Winneshiek County.
Through traffic on U.S. 52 will not be detoured, instead flaggers and pilot cars will be used. For more information, see the website listed below.
Construction of the project is expected to begin in 2022.
An online public meeting is now available to view on the Iowa DOT’s Public Involvement webpage: www.iowadot.gov/pim. To view the meeting and related content, click on “U.S. 52” from the list of public involvement events. The online meeting allows you to scroll through the information at your own pace and at any time. The Iowa DOT is asking interested parties to take a few minutes to view the information and offer any feedback. Comments and questions regarding the online meeting should be received by May 31, 2021.
