Relentless wildfires, stoked by high winds and warm temperatures, have charred thousands of acres of ranch land in Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas. The wildfires have consumed some 400,000 acres in Texas, 400,000 acres in Kansas, 200,000 to 300,000 acres in Oklahoma and 30,000 acres in Colorado. Besides killing livestock, and some people, the fires have left ranchers without hay, fencing and other essentials. Local agricultural groups are asking for donations of forage, fencing and other supplies. Those who want to help are asked to contact:
