Megan Kueker has been named field specialist for the Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers (CSIF). She previously served as communications specialist for CSIF since 2024.
As field specialist, Kueker will provide one-on-one assistance to farm families wanting to grow their livestock farms responsibly and successfully. She’ll assist livestock and poultry farmers in following all rules and regulations, choosing good locations for new livestock barns and feedlots, enhancing relations with neighbors and implementing best management practices that improve air, soil and water quality.
Kueker grew up on a small dairy farm in northeast Iowa. She graduated from Iowa State University in May 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications.
“The Coalition has been a trusted resource for Iowa farm families wanting to remain viable on the land and active in their communities for more than 22 years,” said CSIF Executive Director Brian Waddingham. “Megan will help maintain and advance the Coalition’s reputation as a prompt, reliable and trusted resource for livestock and poultry farmers to call when they need assistance growing or maintaining their farms.”
