Iowa Farm Bureau's District 6 (including Jackson, Clinton, Scott, Jones, Cedar, Linn, Johnson, Benton, Iowa, Tama and Poweshiek counties) is hosting a Jackson County farm tour for area young farmers on June 22.

The tour will showcase diverse opportunities within agriculture and give young farmers an opportunity to network with one another. 

When and where is the tour?

This is a daylong tour (starting at 9:30 AM and ending in the evening) on Saturday, June 22. The tour starts at the Centerstone Inn Suites in Maquoketa and ends at the Jackson County Pro Rodeo in Bellevue. Bus transportation will be provided throughout the day and back to the Centerstone Inn Suites after the rodeo.

Who's invited?

Young farmers residing in Jackson, Clinton, Scott, Jones, Cedar, Linn, Johnson, Benton, Iowa, Tama and Poweshiek counties are encouraged to register, but young farmers in any Iowa county are welcome to register as well.

How do I register?

Registration is $25 per person.

Register by contacting Jackson County Farm Bureau at 563-652-2456 or jackson.county@ifbf.org. Space is limited and the registration deadline is Tuesday, June 18.

Bus transportation throughout the day and tickets to the rodeo will be provided with your registration.

A limited number of hotel rooms are available through the Centerstone Inn Suites in Maquoketa.
