These graphs take a look at average Iowa precipitation, growing degree days (GDD), and high and low temperatures from the year 2000 to 2015. As you can see, over the past few years we have experienced many extreme events from the heat in 2012, significant rainfall in June of 2010 and 2014, and above average temperatures in December of 2015. Most of the years are shown in gray to give you an idea of the general trends, but the most recent years are shown in colors. You can highlight a specific year by clicking on it in the key off to the right.
