Sarah Reed and Sandra Geronimo were enjoying a nice life in Ohio — Sarah as a hospital chaplain and Sandra working in housing for the mentally ill. They are both artisans and made jewelry and candles to sell at weekend art fairs, but it was just a hobby rather than vocation.
Then Sarah’s daughter moved to Iowa and invited the two to come for a visit. “I think you’ll like it here,” she told them.
They did. And now they’ve crafted a new life in Iowa. ...
