PART 1: Thinking of diversifying your farm with a farm to table brand? Learn the nuts and bolts of starting a local beef brand and selling direct to the public. In part one, we’ll discuss deciding your product and specifications, naming and setting up your business, choosing a processing facility, making a business plan, and determining your products and pricing.
PART 2: In part 2 of the Farm to Table Boot Camp, we’ll focus on marketing your direct sales beef brand at a local and regional level including branding, packaging, building a fan base, payment processing, order fulfillment, shipping, sales incentives, promotional items, and more. We’ll also touch on special events, catering and working with restaurants.
