A steer raised by 15-year-old Shanee Tate of Renwick and sponsored by the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) took home the top honors in the 2013 Governor’s Charity Steer Show at the Iowa State Fair.

The steer came out on top of the 25 steers entered in the show held Aug. 10 at the fair’s Livestock Pavilion.
