Exceptional yield expectations push crop prices lower

Corn and soybeans farmers can expect continued pressure on prices for their grain going forward, Steve Freed, vice president of research at ADM Investor Services Inc., told Iowa Farm Bureau members visiting the Chicago Board of Trade last week.
The central Illinois corn crop is off to its best start ever, he said, and the national crop forecast looks promising.
