Cherokee Co. Farm Bureau brings safety lessons to grade schoolers

Last week, with school about to wrap up, the Cherokee County Farm Bureau helped area fourth graders learn how to stay safe over the summer and throughout the year.
"We do this prior to school getting out because we want to introduce them to maybe some new things that they may have heard about but not seen, for instance, electrical safety, lawnmower safety, chemical safety," said Vince Davis, Farm Bureau regional manager in northwest Iowa.
