On average in Iowa, 97% of soybeans are blooming and 88% are setting pods. This ranges across the state with the Northwest, North Central, West Central, and Central crop reporting districts all with at least 95% of soybeans setting pods. However, The South Central and East Central crop reporting districts only have 81% and 83% of soybeans setting pods, and the Southwest and Southeast crop reporting districts are even further behind at only at 70% and 71%, respectively.
