When someone mentions the Uni­versity of Iowa, successful sports teams and passionate Hawkeye fans likely come to mind.

But have you ever thought of the University of Iowa as a place to be a tourist?  Going to a football game at Kinnick Stadium is a treat, just as is enjoying a basketball game in Carver Hawkeye Arena, but there is much more to see and do on campus than sporting events.

A great way to enjoy the University of Iowa is through the many performing arts opportunities avail­able on-campus at the new Hancher Auditorium, which was re-built after the original was demolished due to damage sustained in the flood of 2008. Fast-forward to today and many quality shows are already on the 2016-2017 schedule for this...
