Nine educational seminars at the Iowa Farm Bureau’s annual meeting Dec. 2-3 will bring new perspectives to important issues affecting farmers, including water quality, farm program choices, transportation, health care and others.

The educational sessions reflect this year’s annual meeting theme of Seeds of Growth, planting ideas and information that farmers need to be successful, said Barb Lykins, Iowa Farm Bureau director of community resources and annual meeting coordinator.

“We wanted to bring members the most current information on these issues,” she said. “They’re all so critical to where agriculture is today, and where it’s going. What we’d like is for there to be a dialogue. There will be time for back-and-forth questions with the speakers.”
