A group of southern Iowa farmers has found a niche for marketing their products: their annual Farm Crawl in the fall.

For the past seven years, the producers participating in the Farm Crawl have welcomed more than 1,500 visitors to learn about the individual operations, sample food, enjoy live music, learn about livestock, check on the crops and buy Iowa-grown or homemade goodies.

Farm Crawl creator and Farm Bureau member Sean Skeehan has scheduled eight farm stops for the 2013 event, which span Marion County and northern Lucas County on a 42-mile-long path.

Entrance to each farm is free....
