2024 Cookout Contest

The 2024 Iowa Farm Bureau Cookout Contest will be held on Tuesday, August 13 at the Iowa State Fair. 
Please fill out the form below for your chance to compete on the Grand Concourse stage!
Competitors will be notified of their selection by July 12.

Are you interested in competing in the Showmanship category? This category is in addition to a meat entry and focuses on personal flair, plating, place settings, decorations, contestant knowledge and includes a side dish. Because of past demand to be entered into the Showmanship category, spots will be limited to 12 contestants and selected based on a lottery system.
