Costs:
For Member:
$2,500.00 - which includes airfare, hotel (double occupancy) and food.
$1,100.00 - additional if a single room is requested vs. sharing a room with another member.
*For an additional Spouse/Significant Other to join you on the tour, please add cost below:
$7,075.00 - which includes airfare, hotel and food.
Please note: A separate application is required for spouses or significant others who wish to attend the tour.
Participation Requirements:
Applications due July 24, 2026
Valid passport required. Passport should have at least 6 months of validity remaining after February 19, 2027.
Participants will also need to obtain and pay for a Tourist Visa as required for entry by the government of India. (Estimated cost is $160.00) Visit India Travel Advisory | Travel.State.gov for more information. Requirements and fees associated with a Tourist Visa are subject to change.
Selected participants must be Iowa Farm Bureau members in good standing.
Participants will be asked to share what they learn on the market study tour through a minimum of four presentations or outreach events in their local communities after the study tour.
Participants must be willing and able to walk for periods of time as may be required by market study tour activities.
Participants will be notified by end of July 2026 if they are selected for the trip.
