LICA Demonstration Farm

A guided tour of the Iowa Land Improvement Contractors Association (LICA) demonstration farm, featuring a comprehensive look at conservation practices in action:

  • Terraces & grassed waterways
  • Wetlands, bioreactors & saturated buffers
  • Sediment basins
  • Cover crops and their rapid expansion across Iowa
Lunch
Flight Bar + Grille (Huxley, IA)

A well-earned midday break at a local favorite before the afternoon session.

Farm Bureau Leaders & State Conversation

Connect with conservation advocates and hear directly from state leadership on Iowa's water quality progress:

  • Visit with Farm Bureau leaders Carol Miller and Jacob Handsaker
  • Remarks from Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig on statewide water quality efforts

Return to the Office

Arrive back at the Iowa Farm Bureau, wrapping up a day of insight, connection, and conservation in action.
