A guided tour of the Iowa Land Improvement Contractors Association (LICA) demonstration farm, featuring a comprehensive look at conservation practices in action:
- Terraces & grassed waterways
- Wetlands, bioreactors & saturated buffers
- Sediment basins
- Cover crops and their rapid expansion across Iowa
A well-earned midday break at a local favorite before the afternoon session.
Connect with conservation advocates and hear directly from state leadership on Iowa's water quality progress:
- Visit with Farm Bureau leaders Carol Miller and Jacob Handsaker
- Remarks from Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig on statewide water quality efforts
