Kara Schreck, Dallas County's voting delegate, will attend the Iowa Farm Bureau Summer Policy Conference at the Sheraton in West Des Moines on Sept. 9-10.

The Summer Policy Conference serves as the final step in Iowa Farm Bureau's grassroots policy development process. During the conference, voting delegates from across the state review policy recommendations and determine the direction of the organization on issues important to Iowa agriculture and rural communities.

Through this grassroots process, Farm Bureau members help shape policies that guide the organization's advocacy efforts at the state and national level.
