Surprisingly, the latest sensory research found that the air fryer – a favorite kitchen appliance for many time-starved parents – produced the most “juicy” and “sweet” pork cuts, says Dr. Kristen Hicks-Roof, a nutrition researcher at the National Pork Board.

“I think that is really fascinating. There’s something about an air fryer that really accentuates the flavor of pork without overcooking,” she said.
