Clayton County Conservation is pleased to announce the next Older, Wiser, Livelier Souls this spring. The second program of the season will be held on Thursday, April 15. This year’s theme will be “O.W.L.S Favorites.” Programs will take inspiration from past favorites to offer participants a wide variety of topics and trips. This program will be a hike at the Pleasant Ridge Wildlife Area, a Clayton County Conservation Board property. Please meet at Bootleggers, Millville at 11 a.m. for the hike. Reservations are required.

Take a spring hike with naturalist Abbey through Clayton County’s Pleasant Ridge Wildlife Area to see what is popping up. This hike will take about an hour. Make sure to dress for the weather and walk through brush in this natural area. Long sleeves, long pants and good walking shoes are recommended.

After the program there will be the option of lunch at a local restaurant for those who wish to dine out. Register by calling 563-245-1516 or visit www.claytoncountyconservation.org.

In response to the pandemic, we are asking participants to drive themselves to our field trip locations and to wear a mask.
