Immunity-boosting beef pasta

Ingredients:
- 1 box of bowtie pasta, cooked
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt, or more to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/2 cup pasta water
- 1 tablespoon half and half
- 2 cups mozzarella, shredded
Instructions:
- Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cook the pasta to al dente according to directions on box. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large, oven-safe pot or skillet on high.
- Add ground beef, and brown.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic, onion, red pepper flakes, Worcestershire, tomato paste and pasta water. Stir well. Turn heat to low, and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
- Add 1 cup mozzarella, half and half, and pasta. Stir until cheese is melted.
- Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake until cheese is barely melted.
