Looking for the perfect holiday gift for the Hawkeye or Cyclone fan on your list?
Now you can buy the latest “Farm Strong®” and “America Needs Farmers®” (ANF) gear while giving back to Iowa food banks, which see an increased need for food relief during the holiday season.
The ANF partnership between the University of Iowa Athletics and the Iowa Farm Bureau recognizes farm families who protect the land and legacy of rural Iowa and who fill our plates during the holiday season and throughout the year.
In addition, the Iowa Farm Bureau has joined with Iowa State University Athletics on the Farm Strong campaign to showcase agriculture to consumers who have questions about how their food and other products are raised.
Farm Bureau members can purchase official ANF® and Farm Strong® T-shirts and gear for exclusive discounted prices online at https://www.iowafarmbureau.com/Member-Benefits/Special-Offers.
A portion of the sales of all items with the ANF and Farm Strong trademarks directly benefits the Iowa Food Bank Association, which includes all eight food banks that provide food relief throughout the state.
Over the last four years, the ANF and Farm Strong partnerships have raised more than $95,000 for Iowa food banks.
“Community responsibility has always been an integral part of our organization’s mission, which not only supports food banks around the state, but youth and education programs as well,” said Craig Hill, president of the Iowa Farm Bureau and a farmer from Milo.
