In honor of National Farmer Day on Oct. 12, the Fayette County Farm Bureau delivered special "Farmer Goodie Bags" to local co-ops and agriculture offices. These bags, distributed to truck drivers and farmers during the bustling harvest season, contained thoughtful treats, handwritten thank-you letters from Fayette County students, and information about the Farm Bureau and its Issue Surfacing initiative.

The initiative not only celebrates the hard work of farmers but also fosters a deeper appreciation for agriculture among students. As they learn about the vital role farmers play in their community, these young learners expressed their gratitude through heartfelt notes.

By including information about the Farm Bureau and its efforts to address agricultural issues, the goodie bags highlight the importance of community engagement and support for local agriculture. This gesture reinforces the message of gratitude during this busy time of year.
