How can I claim my tickets?
Tickets are available online only at www.iowafarmbureau.com/concert. As an exclusive, members-only concert, members will need their member number to claim their tickets online.
I’m having difficulty ordering tickets online. Who can I talk to?
Please work with your county Farm Bureau for assistance in ordering online. If problems persist, contact etix customer service at 800-514-3849 or the Iowa State Fair at 800-545-3247 and ask for Ticketing, or Brenda Montgomery at 515-225-5402.
QUICK TIP: After members input their membership number, they will receive a special code. Members need to make sure they are writing the code down or copying and pasting it into the boxes on the shopping cart page that asks for a ‘membership code.’ That special code needs to be put in each box on the shopping cart page for each ticket they order, then click submit.
How many tickets can I receive?
Each member may claim up to 5 tickets per member number while supplies last. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage members to register early.
Is gate admission included with my concert ticket?
Yes. Your concert ticket includes your gate admission into the fair. One ticket will be scanned twice. You will need to show your ticket at both the Iowa State Fair admission gate as well as at the Grandstand gate for concert admission.
Where is the concert?
The concert will be held at the Iowa State Fair Grandstand in Des Moines.
Is this a rain or shine event?
Yes. This is an outdoor concert. The concert will proceed rain or shine - with the exception of severe weather. Tickets are non-refundable should the concert be cancelled due to severe weather.
Yes. All bags and backpacks are subject to search upon entry to the Grandstand. Refusal to comply will result in denied entry. Prohibited items include: weapons of any kind; bottles, cans, coolers; video or tape recorders (still photos may be taken at the discretion of the performer).
Will there be tickets available on site at the Fair?
Since this is a private, members-only concert, tickets must be claimed online in advance of the concert at www.iowafarmbureau.com/concert. Members must print a paper ticket or show it on their mobile device to enter.
I can’t attend the State Fair this year, can I exchange my ticket and/or gate admission for cash or another concert or another day at the State Fair?
Tickets may not be exchanged or returned for cash, other concert tickets, or gate admission on another day of the State Fair, nor can they be sold through direct sales or third party vendors such as StubHub and Vivid Seats.
I can’t attend the concert that day, can I still get a ticket to the State Fair for a different day?
Tickets can only be used on Farm Bureau Day (Aug. 14) as part of the concert package and must be ordered online while supplies last.
I lost my ticket, can I get another one?
Neither the Iowa State Fair nor the IFBF are responsible for lost or stolen tickets.
I have 7 people in my family. Can I get more tickets?
Each member may claim up to 5 tickets per member number while supplies last. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage members to register early.
I don’t know my member number. Where can I find it?
Member numbers can be found on your membership card. If you need assistance in locating your number, please contact your county Farm Bureau office.
Is the concert open to non-members?
The Member Appreciation concert is only open to members in good standing.
Does the concert have reserved seating?
The concert is general admission seating, so we encourage members to arrive early.
