July was a busy and rewarding month for Warren County Farm Bureau's Ag in the Classroom program!

Our Summer Program Coordinator, Mallory, wrapped up the final two Farm Discovery Camps of the season—one hosted with Southeast Warren FFA at the Animal Learning Center and another at Jenkins Garden Market in Carlisle. She also shared the story of dairy farming and served ice-cold milk tastings to more than 200 kids at Indianola Child Care.

Miss Keisha hosted an ICYF Lunch & Learn featuring potatoes, where participants learned about this versatile crop and took home potatoes to enjoy.

The Warren County Fair was another highlight of the month, with more than 4,000 visitors stopping by the Learning Tent. Daily Story Time sessions were well attended, and Member Appreciation Day was a tremendous success. A special thank you goes to the Warren County Cattlemen and Warren County Pork Producers for grilling delicious sandwiches for our members.

As summer comes to a close and students prepare to return to school, we are excited to begin another year of bringing agriculture into local classrooms.

Finally, we extend a heartfelt thank you to Mallory for her dedication and enthusiasm throughout the summer. We wish her the very best as she begins her first year of teaching first grade at Southeast Warren Community School District. We are proud to have her continuing to make a difference for students right here in Warren County!
