Contest Rules
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
2. HOW TO ENTER: Beginning on August 17, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time through August 18 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time (the “Sweepstakes Period”), visit https://www.iowafarmbureau.com/Cookout-Contest-Trivia-Challenge and answer four questions, along with the entrant’s name and contact information and the entrant’s answers to trivia questions. Any “optional” questions are not required for entry. While an accurate name and contact information must be provided, correct answers to trivia questions are not required for entry. Only one Entry is allowed per valid email address. Use of any robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entry method or entering more than the number of times permitted will void all entries and result in disqualification.
3. ELIGIBILITY: Open to residents of the State of Iowa 18 years of age and older as of August 17, 2026, except for employees of Iowa Farm Bureau ("Sponsor"), its affiliates, subsidiaries, and agencies (collectively "Promotion Parties"), and members of their immediate family or persons living in the same household. Void where prohibited.
4. DRAWING: Five winners will be selected in a random drawing that will be conducted on or about August 24, 2026, from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. Potential winners will be contacted by phone and/or email. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within 7 days of the initial contact, or if he/she is otherwise ineligible to receive the prize, an alternate will be selected in his/her place. Potential winners must confirm their eligibility per the Official Rules and must also provide documentation of eligibility to the Sponsor upon request and within the timeframe specified in such request, and a gift card in the amount of $40 will be delivered via postal mail. All income taxes resulting from acceptance of prize are the responsibility of winner. By entering this sweepstakes, entrant accepts and agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final in all matters. Acceptance of a prize also constitutes permission to the Promotion Parties to use winner's name, likeness, and biographical information for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law. All federal and state laws apply.
5. PRIZES: Following the Sweepstakes Period, (1) $40 Fareway gift cards will be mailed to each of the five winners. Prize has a retail value of $40. Prize consists of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. Limit one prize per family or household. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted by winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries.
6. GENERAL CONDITIONS / RELEASE: By participating, Entrants release the Promotion Parties, their respective directors, officers, agents and employees from any and all liability for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by their participation, including the unauthorized or illegal access to personally identifiable or sensitive information or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize; and acknowledge that said parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to a prize, including but not limited to the prize quality. Neither the Promotion Parties nor any service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of Entry information, or for any human or other error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data or voice transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or Web site or to complete a telephone call or facsimile transaction, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost or misdirected mail, or any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE, TAMPER WITH THE ENTRY PROCESS OR OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO COOPERATE IN THE PROSECUTION OF ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL(S) AND TO PURSUE ALL REMEDIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of being executed as planned, or infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, action of Entrants, technical failures or any other causes which, in the opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any suspect Entry or Entrant and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. In the event of any cancellation, termination or suspension, notice thereof will be posted at https://www.iowafarmbureau.com/Cookout-Contest-Trivia-Challenge and the determination of any Prize Winner will be made, from among all eligible, non-suspect Entries received as of the date of the termination, cancellation or suspension, as Sponsor determines in its sole discretion. Entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification.

8. CHOICE OF LAW AND FORUM: Entrant agrees that all matters arising out of or relating to this sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Iowa, without giving effect to any of its conflict of laws provisions thereof. Entrant further agrees that any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this sweepstakes and these Official Rules shall be brought exclusively in the applicable federal or state courts located in Des Moines, Iowa.
9. WINNERS LIST: For the names of all prize winners, available after August 24, 2026, send a self-addressed, stamped #10 envelope to: Iowa Farm Bureau Federation, ATTN: Caitlyn Lamm, Sr. Public Relations Coordinator, 5400 University Avenue, West Des Moines, IA 50266. Requests for names of all prize winners must be received by no later than September 23, 2026.
