Small Drones Approved for Commercial Use

On Tuesday, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) finalized a new rule regarding operating and certification requirements for the commercial use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), or drones. Previously, the FAA would only approve drones for commercial use on a case-by-case basis. This new law, which will take effect in August of 2016, relaxes regulation on any qualifying UAS.
