Self-driving cars could come to Iowa

DES MOINES - You could soon be seeing driver-less cars on Iowa roads. They'd be tracking potential driving hazards for Iowans.
On Monday, the Iowa Department of Transportation asked the governor for money to fund the fleet.
"That's part of a structure of us really getting to the point of an AV-ready autonomous vehicle-ready," said Mark Lowe of the DOT.
