The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Thursday, June 15, to discuss the proposed interchange and right of way needs to U.S. 20 at Swiss Valley Road in Dubuque County. The project entails a new interchange and access control at Swiss Valley Road and reconstruction of U.S. 20 from Cottingham Road to just west of Barrington Drive. Work also includes construction of frontage roads on the north and south sides of U.S. 20 from Cottingham Road to the Southwest Arterial.

All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting anytime between 4 and 6 p.m. at the East Central Intergovernmental Association’s office, 7600 Commerce Park, in Dubuque. The meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made.
