Late Wednesday night, the Iowa Utilities Board cancelled the Navigator information meetings for the remainder of this week, December 16 and 17, due to clean-up efforts from the storm. The meetings for Franklin, Butler and Floyd Counties will be rescheduled at a later date.
Information meetings provide an opportunity for landowners and the community to ask questions about the proposed pipeline project and learn about the IUB’s permit process. The pipeline company cannot negotiate with landowners for voluntary easements or conduct land surveys in the county until after the information meeting is held in the county.
