Livestock Air Emission Reporting Deadline

EPA issued guidance regarding CERCLA and EPCRA air emission reporting requirements for agriculture on October 26 in response to an April 2017 federal court ruling. Livestock farms emitting more than 100 pounds/day of ammonia or hydrogen sulfide are directed to report their emissions under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). EPA has updated its website multiple times since then, so check it often for the latest information. The...
