Iowa DOT’s State Management Plan available for public comment

The Iowa Department of Transportation has updated its State Management Plan, a document outlining the state’s administration of Federal Transit Administration funding under Section 5310, 5311, 5316, 5317, and 5339 programs. This document was updated to reflect changes made as a result of the federal surface transportation authorization bill known as the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act.
The draft document may be accessed at www.iowadot.gov/transit/publications.html. Comments from the public will be accepted through March 17, 2017, and should be submitted to Kristin Haar, Office of Public Transit, Iowa Department of Transportation, 800 Lincoln Way, Ames, Iowa 50010, by phone at 515-233-7875, or email kristin.haar@iowadot.us.
