The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Wednesday, Oct. 12, to discuss an Interstate 380 study. The intent of the study is to evaluate improvement alternatives for I-380 between Iowa 100/Collins Road and County Home Road/Linn County Road E-34 in order to improve the safety and operations of I-380. Potential improvements will evaluate capacity improvements for I-380, a new interchange at Tower Terrace Road, and reconstruction of the interchange at Boyson Road. These improvements are intended to accommodate increased travel demands and may also provide the benefit of supporting regional travel needs for planned economic development and land uses.

All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting anytime between 5 and 6:30 p.m. at the Hiawatha City Hall, 101 Emmons St., in Hiawatha. The meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made.

The meeting space is accessible for persons with disabilities. However, if you require special accommodations at the meeting, please notify the Iowa DOT contact listed below by Oct. 3.
